Hello,
I have a query which I need to clarify on behalf of my brother.
My brother has given 3 attempts of GMAT and his highest score being 670. He is now planning to give the GMAT for the 4th time. Recently while chatting with my friends I came to know that ISB does not entertain applicants with more than 3 GMAT attempts. Is it the case so? I understand that it does make the profile of the candidate less appealing but does ISB reject the applications starightaway.!!
I have personally attended the ISB infosession in Delhi and there we were told that ISB considers only the highest score out of all attempts.
So I request you to kindly give me a genuine feedback as to whether ISB will entertain applications with more than 3 attempts, so that I can convey the same to my brother.
I totally agree that the GMAT score is not the sole criteria for selection but just want to ensure that does it reject applications merely on the basis of number of attempts.

I think it is a bunch of BS - this would be a big upset. I would direct your question to ISB admissions just to be sure but seems pretty dumb. (don't tell them I said this if they have this policy).

So are you trying to say that most of the b schools will reject the applications due to more than 3 attempts??
