I registered for the test on 21st of October '15 and scheduled it for 1st December 15, borrowed OG 13 and MGMAT SC, and bought the online Magoosh GMAT (M+V). I had been able to only go through 80% of OG and MGMAT SC, and solve about 100 questions each for M & V in Magoosh due to paucity of time. I gave the two Mock test on GMATPrep three and two days before the GMAT and scored 680 48,37 and 690 49,35. In the Magoosh verbal I only got about 44% (out of around 100) of the Verbal Questions right. Yet with a very happy and confident feeling of scoring well around the 680 mark I went and gave the GMAT.
Test Date Verbal Quantitative Total Analytical Writing Integrated Reasoning 01 December 2015 27 / 45% 50 / 87% 640 / 71% 5.0 / 59% 7 / 81%
Without a LOT of preparation I knew I would not cross the 700 mark but 640 and 27 in verbal was really a miserable feeling. I have only one month considering the application deadlines and really want to get a consistent score in GMAT Verbal so that in my next GMAT I'm able to score above 700. It is a standardized test after all and it is easy to overcome hurdles. Hence I'm looking for sincere help to help me build a strategy to really go there and blast the hell out of GMAT! I plan to schedule my GMAT again on 5th on January '16.
Thank you for your help!

Hi barun90,
You still have a month to prepare for the GMAT and going by your scores, you need to pay special attention to the verbal section. You Quants is excellent and just a little bit of practice all along will ensure that it says the same way.
Since you said that you were able to get only 44% of the questions correctly in your course, this shows that something is lacking
1. Did you take the full length CAT? 2. Did you encountered some questions on the CATs that you had seen before?
