Hi, I am planning to retake my GMAT, my fist attempt was 710(Q49,V38), the biggest challenge is to take my verbal from 38 to 45.
The first attempt used MGMAT guides for study and OG for practice, what should be done differently this time is where I need help.
In my practice CR was the strongest and SC was the weakest sub section however as per the ESR, CR was the worst(55th percentile), SC(79th percentile) and RC was fine.
Now I have to draft a study plan for my retake and would appreciate any help in this regard.
PS: I have also exhausted all the practice questions from the OG, OG Quant and OG Verbal 2018 and now I have no idea on how to get more practice questions, will the OG 2019 be fully new or they have lot in common

How to take my verbal score from 38 to 45 in my retake(in practice SC was weakest and CR was strongest, in exam CR was worst, SC average and RC good, i had used MGMAT to study in 1st attempt)

Congratulations on your first attempt score of 710. It is a good score and improving from here on will be all about plugging gaps.
• Check ‘Skill Data’ section to Isolate the topics in which you are weak

How to Improve from V38 to V45
At V38 you are already at 85 percentile score which suggests good grasp over concepts and application process as well. To improve from here will require you to plug specific gaps that you have instead of randomly studying topics or only solving questions. Here is a 3-steps process to do improve to V45:- • Evaluate topic level preparedness
• Isolate weaknesses and improve upon them
• Track Improvement and repeat the process until you achieve your desired scores
