Could anyone please help me to understand verbal scoring algorithm?
Usually, One gets 8 CR, 13-14 each SC & RC questions in the exam? I presume that total verbal score is average of marks in each question type. In this case, One mistake in CR should make a significant difference in total score compared with one mistake in other type of questions, as CR carries more weightage because of few questions.
Could someone please enlighten me on this? Thanks

May be helpful to check out some of the publicly available ESRs. It's possible for two people to have the same correct/incorrect question ratio but have two difference section scores. The difficulty level of the questions can play a factor, for example.
Thanks for the responses. Keeping aside the difficultly level of questions, If I make one mistake in CR, it’s pulling down heavily in percentile rankings of CR as the there are few CR questions compared with no of SC and RC questions. It’s an observation from my ESR. Shortly, I will share my ESR.
