So i'm 3 days away from the official GMAT and wondering what could be the reason behind some very unstable performance in verbal. I've always lacked in math, so i'm not too surprised that after month's of study my improvement has been slow. On the other hand, I have always done well in verbal but it is not reflected on all of my preps, any ideas as to why my verbal score is so variable in all my CATs? Any last minute pointers regarding specifically that area?
I'm aiming for anything north of 680 and as I see it, this basically comes down to my score in verbal.

Relax, you're just nervous. You got 680 once, you can get it again. In fact you can do better because of all the preparation you've done since your first GMAT Prep in January.
Remember, you have done a lot to prepare yourself academically to write the GMAT. In the next couple of days, prepare yourself mentally.
Keep in mind that you are comparing different practice tests from different companies. The GMATPrep tests are the most accurate, especially as far as Verbal is concerned. In these last days I would definitely try to stick with official GMAT material for any additional prep that you are going to do so if you haven't tapped the Question Pack 1 that is something you could use that would allow you to just stay with official questions at this point. And if you needed to do another practice test definitely pay for the additional 2 tests that you can buy on the GMATPrep software.
