We recently presented a video tutorial on MBA recommendations as part of GMAT Club's ongoing live video series. As with most of our videos, our goal is to provide applicants with a comprehensive end-to-end guide on the subject matter we're covering. The guidance provided in the video is therefore hyper-specific -- as with nearly every aspect of MBA applications, high levels of nuance and specificity are what separate superb applications from common ones.
The video covers several topics that are central to MBA recommendations, including: What are the logistics of the MBA recommendation process? Who should you choose as your recommenders? How should they approach / structure their recommendations? What should your recommenders focus on? How can you prepare them to deliver the best and most impactful MBA recommendations? How can you navigate complicated recommender choices and situations?
Most applicants and recommenders do not realize how important MBA recommendations are -- or how thoughtful and specific their recommendations need to be. Recommendations can make or break an application. In fact, we work with applicants rather extensively on recommender selection, topic brainstorming, recommender preparation, and recommendation feedback. So please watch the video carefully -- and
sign up for a Free Consultation if we can help!
