I am planning to give GMAT in 2011 around April first week. Basically wanted to know the difference in the exam pattern of 2010 and 2011 i.e. any new stuff likely to happen in 2011 etc...
Another thing can someone help me with a plan to tackle the GMAT 2011. I am targetting a score of 700+ like most of the folks so I need as much a robust plan as possible.

The new GMAT pattern has an integrated reasoning section that is to be introduced in August, if I'm right. There's not much difference between 2010 and 2011 otherwise - at least not more than variations between each month, since the GMAC uses a different question bank for the tests once every 30 days. I recommend the links Pkit posted along with taking a look at www.MBA.com and their GMAT section in particular to get acquainted to the changes and patterns.

I think the integrated reasoning section will be introduced in June 2012, not 2011.

Originally the integrated reasoning was supposed to be released in 2013.
However, it was moved down a year to 2012 (I always think it was announced in 2012 and moved down to 2011).

To start off, take GMAT prep test 1 and analyze it properly. Know your weakness areas. Then chalk out a plan. Make sure you keep an eye on Quant and Verbal both simultaneously. Close to your GMAT date, take GMAT prep test 2 to see how much you have improved. You can actually take both these tests twice without encountering too many repeat questions. So in between, if you want to gauge your progress, you can take GMAT prep test 1 again.
