Would I be at a big disadvantage buying the Manhattan GMAT books used? It is a lot cheaper. I realize that I will not get the expanded the question bank from online, is that really necessary? I can get all the tests from buying a single book new.

Bud the problem with used is that all the problems are already filled in. I made the mistake of buying books used and they were marked up with writing. For me that took away from the experience of learning. When I would do the problems I would not learn at all some times because tha answer was right in front of me. Look for used books that are untouched. Many people buy them and never use them.

I guess what is the price difference?
The books do not have many practice questions really - they rely on the OG 12 and on the Online question banks, so I would say each bank is worth $5 per book - about $40 for a bundle of 8. Just a guess.
