Where did those 13 mistakes come during the test? It is possible that they were placed in a such a way that you were never able to get into the tougher levels of questions.
I agree with you that it doesn't sound quite right, but it's possible depending on the placement of the errors and you ability to get into those tougher questions. Plus, you have to remember that even a few more questions could have made a drastic difference in that score. 2 - 3 more right answers could have potentially boosted your score 50 points. So look at this as a learning experience and look at every question as an opportunity to boost your score.

I got the following questions wrong- 2,4,5,9,11,15,20,21,22,27,30,33,37. Pretty frustrating for me since I expected a 40V. Is it possible that I could have scored 50 points more if I had answered que 20,21,and 22 correctly?
