Hi tj91,

I would be happy to provide some advice but have some questions regarding your GMAT prep and test day experience:

1) Can you provide us with the dates and score breakdowns from your Official GMAT prep practice exams? When you took the practice tests, did you take them under realistic conditions (e.g. in a quiet environment, no extended breaks)? Did you complete the entire CAT, including the IR and Essay sections?

2) Describe your study routine. What resources have you been using to study? How many hours a day did you study and for how many total months?

3) What are the MBA programs to which you plan to apply? What deadlines are you targeting?

4) Describe your experience on test day. Did you feel nervous while taking the exam? Did you feel comfortable with the quant questions asked? Were you surprised by a Q45 score? Feel free to include any other relevant information.

Hi,

Other experts have already given you decent advice.
Hence, we would like to give you different advice.
There are some cases where a number of MBA schools give you an advantage if your quant score is good when applying for Finance.
Some schools actually partially approve your admission, and ask you to resubmit quant with a higher score.

However, in your case, we expect your score is good enough to go to decent schools regardless of quant.
Nevertheless, if you would still like to improve your quant, in GMAT Math, it is highly difficult to hit 48 or above although you're very good at math due to the nature of the exam. If you study GMAT for a very long time, it is possible to hit 49 on your own.

Since your current score is 45, you can hit 49-51 with studying Variable approach for DS in a short period of time. You can still cover PS with your own math skills though you can surely solve all DS questions 100% with the world's first Variable approach and have 10 minutes to spare.
When it comes to tutoring, you offer the best price in the market. Please refer to the review made by one of our tutoring students.

Or, we would like to highly recommend Short-Cut 51 or All-In-One 51 for you.

Happy Studying!
