Hi guys,
I just took my 1st cat on the MGMAT software and scored a 680 (47 Q, 36 V)
I have 2 questions:
1st) Is the quantitative section of the MGMAT tougher as they say because i lost 2 points and 18 percentiles from the GMATprep software?
2nd) When looking at the report of the Verbal part I saw that I was on the 99% until the last 5 questions after which I dropped to an 81% because I had to rush through them, my question is: Is the percentile indicator of the MGMAT indicative and if that were to be the case should I work more on time management rather than on reviewing content

As you mentioned this is your first CAT, I think this is a great score. You are already at a great start.
Yes, MGMAT Quant is a bit harder than the real GMAT but I believe it's better to practice such questions as once you get comfortable with such questions, you will find actual Quant very easy.
Rushing through the exam is the BIGGEST cause of getting lower than the desired score.
I believe you MUST work on your time management and work on the content also.Give 5-6 mocks and see whether you are maintaining the consistency in your scores.
If yes, practice a little more and you are good to go. Try to give official Mocks also as they are obviously the TRUE indicator of where you stand.

Ok thanks! I feel pretty solid on content though since I've gone through OG and Manhattan prep strategy guides. Although I have the feeling that when I am on the exam especially in the quant part I become less methodical and more easily panicked, Next week I'll do a 360 review of all the work I have done up to now and give the GMATprep CAT hopefully I'll break the 700.
While in the next month (which is gonna be my last month) I'm planning on doing all 6 MGMATs and the 2nd GMAT prep along with a FOCUS on 700+ questions on Kaplan 800 and Manhattan AQ
