I had appeared for GMAT yesterday at Hinduja college, Mumbai. I haven't seen such a bad exam centre till day in whatsoever exams I had given in the past. My experience is as under:
1) When I entered the test room, on my left, I guess there were 3 accountants or staff of the college, who were talking on a bit loud note which was disgusting.
2) In front of my seat, there was a cabin, where local staff were passing on by and talking on a loud note. Their voice was distracting me while I was taking test.
3) one madam was consistently roaming in and around me, which resulted in loss of my concentration and hence my gmat was screwed.
A friend of mine who took GMAT at multiple Centers was shocked beyond words ( coz he never ever experienced such a GMAT test atmosphere) when I shared my experience. His view was that Pearson has gone lax with the Center in mumbai as the one at marine drive has closed down n this is highly irresponsible on part of Pearson to allow such a center to conduct the test as the test requires highest level of concentration n a stable undisturbed environment..
I feel that this Center is not following the norms prescribed by Pearson n at the same time Pearson is also not very much concerned with this unprofessional behaviour..
My advice is avoid this center under any circumstance ( even if no other center is available, instead take a different date)..
