Hi, thankyou so much for your advice.
I gave my first GMATprep Exam today, one of the 2 free one's available.
I haven't studied quant or verbal for past 4 months or so, so felt kinda out of touch.
I scored 640 in it, Quant : 49 Verbal : 28.

Quant seemed very easy, and I'm sure with little effort I can get 50+.
I'm worried about my Verbal though, I want to score close to 750 in my GMAT if not more, and I have 2-3 months on my hand with alot of free time.
I'm willing to dedicate all my time to this GMAT prep.
1. Do you think it's possible for me to get around 750 in 2-3 months?
2. If you can suggest some books for mastering Verbal, please do. I'm ready to spend upto 3-4 hours on verbal everyday.
Also I feel OG for quant would be too basic for me so incase there is some book with touches some advance techniques and questions for quant, please refer them to me too.

Hi anishraina

I definitely think it is possible to score a 750 in 2-3 months
considering you are at 640 already.

Book recommendations to improve Verbal
1. Powerscore CR Bible - In my opinion, this book is enough to master all the
concepts to do well in the CR section of the verbal.
2. Aristotle SC Grail - Gives you a good idea about the various rules tested in SC.
Alternatively, you can sign up for e-gmat(which is extremely good for SC).
However, am not sure if they specifically provide only SC packages anymore.

For RC techniques, you could check this post: https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmat-club-s- ... 83101.html

These are some awesome posts on the forum which will help you develop a
strategy to improve your Verbal score to 40+
1. https://gmatclub.com/forum/how-to-impro ... 42361.html
2. https://gmatclub.com/forum/how-to-impro ... l#p1643215

As for the Quant section, you have all that you need to improve your score to Q50-51
GMATClub Quantitative Mega-Thread - for advanced QUANT concepts

For practice, you could subscribe to the GMATClub tests(or even redeem them for points/kudos)
or visit the topic wise(sorted by difficulty) questions in the respective forums. We have a similar
collection for RC,CR and SC in the Verbal forums.

Hope this helps you!
