Hi everyone,
I realize that this is a GMAT prep page, but have been waitlisted at Darden and tbd on Johnson. I have a low GRE quant score (and honestly haven’t studied too much). I have a feeling that my schools are going to ask me to retake GRE to get off the waitlist. I have an admit to another masters program at UVA that blends well with my MBA. How crazy would it be to quit job at end of April (like I planned for MBA) and study like crazy to retake test? If I did, how much would you dedicate to studying for the month?

If you are quitting your job anyway to go join the UVA program, then i think its a good idea to study for GMAT during that period. If its only to study, then I would recommend you take leave, even unpaid one, to study, but don't quit your job. Both Darden and Cornell are excellent programs and I think the additional effort is the right way to go considering the expected reward at the end of it.
That said, you would want to be sure that its not too late for you to retake GMAT, i.e. you are still kept in the waiting list and are still in the fray for the MBA seat.
