Hey,

Anyone attempted MANHATTAN PREP CAT tests for GMAT? Any idea if its adaptive? I read somewhere that the MGMAT CAT are not adaptive and tougher than the GMAT Prep?

Would appreciate input !

MANHATTAN PREP CAT are adaptive, quant is on the tougher side as compared to GMAT.

Hi
The MGMAT prep CATs are adaptive and tougher than the actual Gmat. It is useful for preparation for the actual test.

Hi,

All MGMAT CATs are adaptive including the free test. Also, Veritas, Magoosh, Kaplan, Math Revolution etc have adaptive free tests.

MGMAT CATs are on the tougher side though, they are more liberal in scoring. So beware of being complacent. This is my personal opinion.

Warning!

Manhattan CATs may disappoint you. A few months ago i 've taken Manhattan only Math CATs and was disappointed by score. Its Algorithm is much harsh than GMAT prep. Manhattan Math Questions were sometime Insanely tough, you better try GMAC Cats.

I was barely getting Q40 and Q41 on MGMAT CAT. I thought I was hopeless in Quant.
I was constantly running out of time and barely understood the MGMAT questions.

On the actual GMAT, I got Q49 and I had a plenty of time left over.

I think MGMAT hard questions are at Q51 levels.
Wish I had focused more on Verbal, instead of Quant.
