Guys, please help. I am planning to take my GMAT on March 19th, and I can only start my preparation by Feb 10. I will get whole 38 days for preparation as I resigned from my job. This is my 2nd attempt. The first attempt I could score only 610(Q48,V26). I need 700+ to get into the schools I want. Please guide me through. Is 38 days(8hrs/day) enough? And also is Mangoosh good for preparation?

Hi Noah,
A 100 point improvement in 38 days is not impossible with the number of hours you can dedicate but a lot would depend on where you stand right now. Because if there is a considerable gap after your first attempt, then I'm afraid you have to revisit a few concepts again. So, it would be better to take a mock and see where you stand. Based on the score you can actually plan your studies.
I can suggest you in a better way if you can provide me a few more details such as the way you prepared till now, your weak areas and the approach you use to solve questions. Looking at your score, quant doesn't seem to be a major problem. Verbal seems to be the one on which you have to concentrate a lot. Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
1) When did you take your 1st Official GMAT?
2) How long have you studied so far? Before your 1st attempt, how many hours did you typically study each week?
3) What study materials have you used so far?
4) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
If you took your GMAT at a Test Center, then you might also choose to purchase the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.
