Hi Gagan,

We've discussed your studies over the last several months - and it seemed as though you were gearing up to retake the GMAT. Based on your post in this thread - and the fact that you scored 690 last July (over a year ago) - have you recently taken the GMAT (and if you did, then how did you score?)?

Nope. Same test each time.

Now, due to some luck, the test might *feel* tougher one time over another. But the test is not saying, "Oh, they've taken this test before, so let's crank it up a notch."

You are inspiring me to take another attempt at it.
Well, the fact that the exam doesn't get tougher with each attempt, obviously does not mean that it gets any easier with each attempt.

So, rework on your weak-areas Gagan and let this attempt be your best (and last).

Good luck!

"Hey

Is there any chance that GMAT becomes tougher with each attempt?

Gagan"

Take this with a grain of salt, but it might be fair to say the GMAT is "tougher" now than it was 20 years ago for a variety of factors. If a person gave the exam last month, however, it's unlikely an attempt today would be "tougher" in that sense.

Then I guess there is a structural issue with how I solve verbal.

Hi gagan0303,

No, the GMAT will not get tougher with each subsequent attempt.
