Hey,
I suffer from a large inconsistency in my Quant section.
Last 4 mocks (all OG)
570 (Q34, V34) - this is where I started in May
650 (Q45, V35) - sometime early July
640, (Q38, V40) - 2 weeks ago
720 (Q47, V42) - Last week
Actual test yesterday 640 with Q38,V40
I think my verbal is where it should be, but quant?? I am working with a tutor where some process-related tips are helping, but interesting to see if there is anyone else who experience this?
I was thinking about taking another practice tomorrow, focus on consistent approach and review over the coming days (except exam), or is my time more wisely spent skipping the practice exam Sunday and work through an error log?
Have an in test center scheduled Wednesday, otherwise next online is 2nd October. Really want to get a 680+ before R1 deadlines.

I think you should stop taking practice tests and go back to doing practice questions until you achieve high accuracy consistently. Once you can consistently get 90 - 100% of easy, 80 - 90% of medium, and 70 - 80% of hard practice questions correct consistently, then go back to taking practice tests.

I think you should stop taking practice tests and go back to doing practice questions until you achieve high accuracy consistently. Once you can consistently get 90 - 100% of easy, 80 - 90% of medium, and 70 - 80% of hard practice questions correct consistently, then go back to taking practice tests.

Thanks, I guess this makes sense if I have a lot of time on my hands to meet my preferred dl. At the moment, I do not really have that (might reconsider my business school application dl), what would you suggest that I do in the coming days with one exam scheduled wednesday and one 2nd October? Still just practice quant in each difficulty and focus on accuracy?
