Hi,
I have my GMAT test in 4 days (15th November, 12 pm IST). This will be my first attempt. I have given two GMAT prep mocks in the last 3-4 days. My score is as follows:
1. Official GMAT practice test 2 taken on 8th Nov: 760 Q49 V45
2. Official GMAT practice test 5 taken on 10th Nov: 710 Q47 V41
I am planning to take one last mock on the 12th to shake off the anxiety about giving a full length test as well as practice pacing myself better. I think I bombed the latest mock especially in quants because I had trouble skipping questions. I spent 6 min on one hard level question and naturally ran short of time eventually. I do realise that I cannot make significant improvement in my verbal and quant abilities at this point but I want to make sure I don’t make mistakes that are avoidable and lose out on a score that I deserve. So any advice on the same? Any existing GMAT club articles I can go through?
I am also looking for advice on what I need to be aware of for the test day. Any mba.com links on what to carry and not carry, what is allowed inside the centre and what can be accessed during breaks etc would be helpful. Anything I should know about the security process before the exam?
Basically, I wanna take care of anything and everything I can do in these last few days to get my target score.
Besides, any advice on breathing techniques for nerves and a warm up quiz to get the brain running would be helpful. What does a warm up quiz look like? How many questions do I do and what should I keep the difficulty level? Also, at what point should I give this quiz? Before entering the centre? Or before leaving home for the centre? Should I attempt new questions or only do questions that I have answered before?
I know I sound kind of overcautious. I just wanna make sure I know what’s coming. Any help is appreciated.
