Hey guys, I took my first official mock and scored a 740 (Q49, V41) - 8 questions wrong in each section. I've used TTP to prepare for Quant and a variety of sources for Verbal since I did not have the time for TTP Verbal.
I am taking the GMAT on the 8th of Jan (more of a trial) and subsequently on the 27th of Jan. I have taken about a week off work before the 27th for the final push.
I am struggling with number properties and inequalities and absolute values in Quant. I have gone through the TTP material twice but still can't seem to get the hang of these topics. I'm trying to understand what I can do to improve on these topics considering I have a short prep period remaining.
On verbal, the errors were more random and mainly on the SC & RC sections - not really sure what I can do to improve here.
Any inputs would be appreciated.

You could search online for other resources that teach the same topics. Often, when you see the same topic taught in a few different ways, things click for you since you get different insights from each source.

If you feel your fundamentals are solid, consider working on your solving approach. May boost your score a bit. Had a student for example who went from a V41 to a V45 in about 10 days on a retake. Perhaps include working with a study buddy into your prep. If you can find someone who is really strong on Verbal and needs help with Quant, that could be a good fit. There's a study buddy thread on gmatclub you could check out. For RC, becoming familiar with how inference questions work could be helpful.
