Hi TtTt1212

The problems that you are facing are very common these days among the test takers. However, there is a way to manage these parts. for that you need to carefully understand the structure of the DI section

There are several important pointers that you should notice first

1) MSR Questions are position generally at 5-6-7
2) It's very important to get the first 6 questions correct in the section to really get a good grip on the sectional score
3) There are 708 DS questions (3 non-math and 4-5 Math based)
4) There are about 5 G&T questions
5) There are about 4 TPA questions

Knowing the count of questions, your strengths and your weaknesses is quite helpful in making a strategy that can take score to 82-85.

For more detail, you might consider taking a trial class and make discussion more personalised.

I am struggling with the Data insights section. I took my first mock (official practice Test #1) and scored really terribly. I could attempt only 14/20 questions, I think not being able to even have a look at the last 6 questions might have given me a low score overall. (If my assumption is wrong here please do let me know).
I spent a really long time on the MSR questions. Got 4 out of 6 correct.
In fact, here is my break up (from the report generated post-test) :
TPA: 2 out of 3 correct (100th percentile) MSR: 4/6 (81st percentile) G&T: 4/4 (100th percentile) DS: 1/2 (NA, 2nd qn was unattempted as time ran out) OA: 11/15

1. What can I do to not waste time on questions? On some Qns I have spent 4-6 minutes! I know this is terrible, and I would really like to improve. Any stratergy on approaching the DI section is HIGHLY appreciated.
2. How do I go about preparing for DI? Would the OG 24-25 Data Review book be sufficient? Are these the same qustions present here on GMAT Club under the OG 24-25 / GMAT Prep (Focus) filter?
Any other sources I could use to improve my score?
3. I think my issue is time management, but I am open to any feedback, hence have added my break up of each sub section, if anyone has suggestions on how I can improve these, I'd be eternally grateful!
