Getting stuck at around V84 - V85 with CR being the culprit

Hi all, 
 Got a V85 on my latest official mock. When I broke it down, CR was clearly the weak link as I got 4 out of 9 CR questions wrong which is pretty significant. 
 The frustrating part is I feel like I understand the argument being made when I read the question, but I consistently fall for trap answer choices or second-guess my initial instinct. 
 Some specific things I'd love guidance on: 
 
  Is 4/9 wrong in CR a structural reading issue or an answer elimination issue?  
  Should I be pre-phrasing my answer before looking at the options or is that slowing me down?  
  Any specific resources or methods that helped you improve CR accuracy on GMAT Focus specifically?
   
 RC is going well for me so verbal fundamentals aren't the issue, CR specifically seems to be where I'm losing points. Would appreciate any targeted advice. Thanks!

As herxheys12 had recommended Marty's videos on GMATClub YouTube channel is great. But, what I think is you filter the LSAT CR questions and start doing it. There are hundreds of LSAT CR questions, they are of high quality and even many times tougher than an average GMAT question. For me, sheer volume of number of problems solved gave me confidence and improved my skill. But what worked for me may not work for you.

A V85 with CR as the clear miss sounds a lot like where I got stuck too, if I'm honest. What you're describing, understanding the argument but falling for the trap or second guessing yourself, is almost never a reading problem. I slogged through the same pattern for months. That 4/9 probably isn't about missing the logic, it's about what happens in the ten seconds after you've narrowed it to two choices. That's exactly where I bled points, and for a while I picked the wrong one out of the final two with scary consistency.

Pre-phrasing helped more than almost anything else, especially on assumption and weaken questions. If you have a rough sense of what the answer needs to do before you look at the choices, the trap options stop looking as tempting, because you're checking them against your own prediction instead of against each other. herxheys12 and kingbucky already pointed you to solid resources, so I'll add one habit instead: after every CR question you miss, write a single sentence in plain English explaining why you picked what you picked. The patterns show up faster than you'd expect.
