Hi all,
I'm thinking of applying to the top business schools in the US probably in a year or two.
I'm a resident as well as a citizen of Sri Lanka -a tiny island off India for the folks who don't know where we are.😅
Just wanted to know whether we are clubbed with Indian applicants during the application process. I do believe Indian applicants have a certain disadvantage coming into the application process as they are over represented.

Welcome! Since you are a citizen of Sri Lanka, you won't be clubbed with the Indian applicants
It is a bit rare that we see applicants from Sri Lanka so I think that will work in your favor you a bit since the schools strive for diverse representations Since you have a year or two in your hand, you have a good amount of time to research schools and/or retake the test if you want to.

hahaha.. I have wondered about the same sometime in the past. I came across one of the Sri Lankan's profile doing an MBA at Oxford. But haven't heard too many. So I am pretty sure, Sri Lankan would be under under-represented category!!
