q1-in the question which ask you to specify what contribution you will make in and outside the class in the xyz school?
is it preferable to write something like i will start my own product management club even though the school already have a product management club?
does this raise some eyebrows like why not join the existing club and why start your own?
q2-in the optional essay questions "Please provide any additional information you would like to bring to the attention of the admission committee."
should i write about the chrronic illness i had how i overcame it in 8 years with the help of mindfulnes and being consistent with my lifestyle, then what awareness i spread about it ,this also explains the year gap i had
from 2013 -14 and the low cgpa
or should i write something positive like about my music band, i was the local lead, we participated in many college fest ,what was my motivation behind starting the band.........................

A: That would make no sense. Why would you start a competing club?
does this raise some eyebrows like why not join the existing club and why start your own?
A: Yes, it would. You are better off talking about a special initiative you would spearhead or role you would take on in the existing club to leave your mark rather than trying to duplicate an organization. The school might not also allow you to do this, FYI.

A: Yes, that would seem appropriate so long as it doesn't make its way into one of your other essays.
