My vote goes to: Golden Retriever
They are perfect hunting/retriever dog, but can also be great family dog. Their characteristics are "kind, friendly and confident".

Golden retrievers are good dogs, but they're very high energy so can get into trouble around the house if they don't get to run around outside enough. I like German Shepherds: very loyal, intelligent, and not as hyper as a golden.
Domtri33: that's a great pic, but I have to say that 180 lbs isn't so much a dog as a small horse.
