Great question sneakerhead - I'll add my curiosity to the mix. What's in mode for young financiers? Must it be a briefcase with a handle, or are messenger bags acceptable? Black or brown leather?
Based off your handle, I'm also guessing you share my disappointment that Air Jordans and AF1's are not acceptable footwear in the workplace

Do you mean professionally or for school? At school it's pretty casual, a mix of backpacks and messenger-style bags. I use a messenger laptop bag from Manhattan Portage that is great, very durable and holds all the crap I haul back and forth to school. When I worked, I had a Tumi roller briefcase, but only used the rolling portion when I traveled. If I were just going to the office I'd use the laptop case portion of the bag, which had handles and was like a mini-briefcase.
