I know at Duke they use Outlook and it's helpful since everyone can view each other's calendars. So I'll be sticking with Outlook...probably worth checking to see if your school is similar.

I use Google Calendar. It serves it's purpose very well. I can sync it to my iPod touch and it is available anywhere. In addition, you can sync all your contacts on Google address book to iPod as well.

You don't need to buy a special digital calendar or paper planner. A lot of students use Google calendar and related services.

When you get assignments in class do you write it down and then later input into Google Calendar/Outlook/etc? Do you have your computer with you so you can just type it in right there?

After getting into bschool, I got used to taking notes on my laptop instead of traditional pen and paper. I have a mobile Vaio TT laptop and I usually have google calendar open in the browser and input whatever I need directly.

At Kellogg everyone uses Outlook or, if they have a Mac, Entourage. It makes it very easy to set up meetings, since you can see all the other students' availability and reserve rooms at Jacobs all at the same time. It's also easy to update remotely with an iPhone/BB/etc.

I don't know of anyone who is still using a paper-based calendar.
