Hi All,
I am curious to hear from those with experience or are currently going through this now. How much time did you or do you plan on taking off between work and school? Is 3-4 months excessive? Is it difficult to explain such a large gap to potential employers? I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts.

Hi,
Am joining my college in June and am working till May end as there is not much work and am getting paid for sitting, so why should i mind?
If you have a genuine reason then I don't think so that it will be tough to convince people.
Or if you can make a genuine reason (its not hard to do that anyways!

I agree with the poster above. I took one month off (plus another vacation of 3 weeks shortly before) between ending work and beginning b-school. It was just perfect and helped me relax in addition to allowing ample time to move cities, etc.
