Hi all

I'm having a tough time figuring out the best laptop for business school. After learning that Tuck and Yale both issue students standard laptops, I figure their laptops are probably my safest bets. Can anyone let me know their brands and models?

p.s. I know there are some master threads of laptop discussions, but I couldn't find what I'm looking for. Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough...

Hi all

I know Tuck issues ThinkPads, but I'm not sure of the model. And I'll ping aerien to see if he can speak to what the standard issue is for Yale SOM.

Yale uses Dells. I think they're inspirons but I'm not entirely sure. They haven't given us specifics beyond "you'll pick them up at orientation"

That's pretty cool. I know the value of the laptop is just baked into the cost of attendance, so it's not any cheaper, but it must be nice to have one less thing to worry about before school.

Definitely nice to have 1 less thing to think about. The unable-to-fix-broken-computer side of me consequently hopes there's also an awesome IT department around to fix any issues.
