Hi Admission Consultants,
Here is my situation. I attempted the GMAT sevearl times prior to 2009 and unfortunately I wasn't proud of scores at all, so I gave up. Recently, I got this big drive that I really, really want to get into B-school, so I tried again. I used a different strategy and a much more effective approach on the GMAT practice questions and on average, I scored 650 or above from the practice exams by Kaplan/Manhattan or GMAC, so my confidence level is higher now, but last Saturday at the exam centre, for some awkward reason, maybe it's the pressure and I wasted a few minutes to use the WC a few more times. I was so nervous and I didn't perform that way I expected, so I cancelled my score reporting. Regardless, now looking back, will only GMAT attempts with valid scores from within the 5 year period be reported to Schools that I want to apply? I am not trying to hide anything because I can't, but what I want to know how bad of the negative impact will it be from past GMAT attempts and most importantly, will school consider GMAT scores more than 5 years ago at all?
Thanks a lot,
KS
