1 more query. Since I will give GMAT once more I may not be able to submit my application in the second round of applications in a particular B-school that I am actually targeting.
The school doesn't follow rolling admissions.
I am a little concerned that I will be applying to a reduced pool of seats given that the b-school would have offered admission to students who applied in October/November.
Will my chances of getting into that particular b-school decrease if I apply in the 3rd round ?

Your concern is valid. AT most schools, there are fewer spots available R3. If you cannot apply R2 because of your GMAT, then you either need to wait until next years or you need to apply during later rounds when there are fewer seats.

Another option is to apply R2 and send in the new score as soon as you get it. If they have not yet reviewed your file, they will use it. If they have reviewed it, most schools will not review again.
