I was interested in your thoughts on my somewhat untraditional profile and choice of schools:
American male, 30 years old
Undergrad: Top 15 Liberal Arts College, 3.8/4.0 (Mathematics)
Grad: Master's degrees in applied math and economics, one from school with "elite" MBA program (passed PhD qualifiers)
GMAT: 760 (51Q/42V), 5.5/6 AWA, 8/8 IR
Work experience: Taught English overseas and then worked 3+ years in brand name global bank (financial markets) and consulting firm. I had excellent performance reviews and some pretty significant accomplishments, including being the first non-executive foreigner to work in one of our large overseas offices (2000+ employees) and winning a major bankwide project competition.
Softs: CFA charterholder, accomplished college athlete and team captain, multilingual (Asian and European languages), extensive overseas experience (10 countries worked/studied), created web-based startup that provides a community service used by thousands of people, several years of tutoring and participant in community orchestra. A fair number of other awards and fellowships for both academics and athletics.
My goal is to pursue entrepreneurship, hopefully in some "social impact" area. I'm a little worried about my age being at the older end of the spectrum, but the below are my target schools and would be curious about any feedback:
Reach: Harvard, Stanford, Wharton
Target: Haas, MIT, INSEAD, Yale, UCLA, Columbia

With the possible exception of Stanford (and I'm not even sure there), I don't see your age being a significant hurdle at any of these programs. And I see a lot in what you wrote above that they will like. You have a competitive profile for your target schools. Did you see https://newsroom.haas.berkeley.edu/artic ... mni-panel/ ?
