1. After the first comma, Dr. Charles Drew is needed to address the modifier issue. Hence the shortlist will be A and B
2. b/w A and B. I choose A - the 'which' part even if removed will not affect the whole sentence. Though I would have preferred 'which can be kept for months' instead of 'which keeps for months'.
3. Also in B, 'which deteroriates' seem to refer to 'transfusions' and not the 'whole blood'.

Moreover, blood detoriates and not transfusions, hence B is out.
