I think the subject is "Owen and John" which is plural ( due to and)
so they is correct

anyone(when used together) refers to any person but not to particular individuals.
Any one(two words) refers to specific but unidentified things or individuals.
Here anyone(together) is used and it refers to Lattimore and Davies hence they is the correct usage.

anyone refers to both the persons ..it is plural.
A-->correct subject verb agreement .
B-->anyone and he do not agree in subject.
C-->anyone and one do not agree in number .

A is correct .

A is correct

B and D is eliminated as is not possible for Harry Truman to be indicted.
C - they are not the one - is an incorrect phrase in itself, as "they" and "one" do not agree in number.
E is eliminated as it violated the rule of "Concision" - should is used twice, where it could be used just once.
