I dont think there is any hard and fast rule for being. Although it is usually wrong.

In this choice all the others are very bad answers so choose C.

You can also search "being" up on some other questions and compare in this forum. Hope that helps.

I think 'being' is almost always wrong, except -
a) Something is 'being' X...
b) 'Being' is something...

IMO, being is not always incorrect. There are some structures where you can use the word as in this case.
The other sport, that is football is being something as correctly pointed out by Alok.
