The core of the issue is maintenance of symmetrical prepositional parallelism of a two-part phrase. When we use a prepositional phrase such as ‘in politics’ in one part, we must follow it up with another such phrase in the other part, namely, ‘in industry’. Except B, none others do this. E also has a redundancy in the use of ‘both and two’
