d for me. My POE:

A- lacking the main verb
B- Misplaced modifier-- study was feautured and not researcher
C- suggest is a command subjunctive indicator and need THAT. Without using THAT, the meaning goes for a toss.

Now the tricky part is D and E

e changes the meaning by omitting MAY
