In option B, Could is coming after not only. Shouldn't we have "could" after but also to maintain the parallelism?

Hi...

Here are my thoughts on the given sentence:

Ideally the sentence should be:

Toward the end of that year, the food and beverage entrepreneur was looking for a partner -
someone who could
not only provide expertise in developing talent pipelines,
but also share his passion to launch a new product on the market.

Note the "could" taken as common before the "not only X but also Y" format

In the absence of the common "could", when we break the correct sentence (fitting choice C in the sentence), we get:

Toward the end of that year, the food and beverage entrepreneur was looking for a partner -
someone who not only could provide expertise in developing talent pipelines,
someone who but also share his passion to launch a new product on the market.

Clearly, the missing "could" creates an error in parallelism as well as a subject verb agreement error ( someone who share).
IMHO the "could" should be taken as common.

Hope this helps :)
