B. ill-known at the time for its wooden dialogue and stilted speeches, the gore-filled action sequences, had been considered -  Past perfect tense is incorrect. Also, a parallel entity 'the gore-filled action sequence' has been used as a non-essential modifier (separated from the sentence via two commas). This is not correct because this information is not redundant. It is useful and must be stated as essential modifier.

C. ill-known at the time by its wooden dialogue and stilted speeches, gore-filled action sequences, is considered -  'ill-known by' is incorrect idiom usage.
