A. For the correctness of expressions, there are two parallelisms that need to be maintained, and this option maintains neither. “first…secondly…” does not maintain parallelism, and “for…creating…and…to teach…” does not do so either.

B. “first…secondly…” fails to maintain parallelism.

C. “first…secondarily…” fails to maintain parallelism; usage of ‘for’ is redundant.

D. Usage of ‘for’ is redundant.

E. Correct. “first…second…” and “for…creating…and…teaching…” both maintain parallelism.

E is the best choice.

Incorrect
Secondly is not parallel with first
To teach is not parallel with creating and also does not fit in for X and y
For to teach does not make sense

B. secondly, teaching students the nobility of service
Incorrect
Secondly is not right - parallelism error with first

C. secondarily, for teaching students the nobility of service
Incorrect
Secondarily changes the meaning and is incorrect

D. second, for teaching students the nobility of service
Incorrect
For ,for teaching - two fors does not make sense. As there is a for already before first.

E. second, teaching students the nobility of service
Correct
No parallelism errors

Parallelism Check:
The school Principal earned immense respect and recognition for,
# first, creating new methods of knowledge dissemination that prompted students to learn and employ creative ways of handling challenges, and
# secondly, to teach students the nobility of service through his own example.

Above the two things for which principal earned respect & recognition - Creating methods......& teaching students .........is not parallel as highlighted in above analysis.
If you start enumerating your point with "first", the next ordinal should be "second" . & if with "firstly" then "secondly"


A. secondly, to teach students the nobility of service - Incorrect - for "Creating" & "to teach"is not parallel, secondly goes well with "firstly"

B. secondly, teaching students the nobility of service Incorrect - secondly goes well with "firstly"

C. secondarily, for teaching students the nobility of service Incorrect - "Secondarily" goes well with "primarily" which in present sentence not makes sense.

D. second, for teaching students the nobility of service Incorrect - For - "Creating" & "for teaching" - second for is unnecessary.

E. second, teaching students the nobility of service - Correct- For "Creating" & " teaching" perfectly parallel.
