Option E could also be right, since, the intended meaning is rightly conveyed here. Also, I think it doesn't matter whether you put "in his yacht" at the beginning or in the middle of the sentence, the intended meaning is clear in both options. Please explain somebody.

i think "in his yacht" is information about parties and should be placed near "parties".

Anyone, please explain Why option "E" is wrong.

A) VJ Malya, a Korean pop star, held parties in his yacht, they featured — run on sentence. Two ICs can’t be joined by a comma and need a FANBOYS connector. “They..” is the 2nd IC here Eliminate.

(B) Parties were held in VJ Malya, a Korean pop star's yacht, which featured - “VJ Malya” isn’t a yacht, he’s a Korean pop star though. Incorrect modifier. Secondly “which” is correctly modifying “hatch” but that is against the sentence’s meaning. The “parties” featured all of that and not the “hatch”. Eliminate.

(C) VJ Malya, who was a Korean pop star in his yacht, held parties featuring — modifier issue. He was a Korean pop star not a Kpop in his yatch. Also incorrect meaning. The fact that he held parties in his yatch is not brought about. Eliminate.

(D) In his yacht, VJ Malya, a Korean pop star, held parties that featured - Correct, no errors.

(E) VJ Malya, a Korean pop star, held parties in his yacht that featured — “that” here incorrectly modifies “yatch”. At best it creates ambiguity. We need an appositive (noun modifier) here after “yatch” to correctly convey the modifications eliminate this in favour of D
