To make it faster, we can use the 'where'/'in which' split. 'where' is used to refer to a physical space and not a metaphorical space (eg a dream, a system, a thought, a sequence). So you can eliminate A, B, D and E. Only C remains.

On the other hand, you can use the meaning-based approach. Intended meaning is "to make  figures on a two-dimensional surface  appear to exist in space". Options A, B, and D change this meaning. Option E does keep the meaning intact but is more verbose than C. Also the last part 'each edge and form' is a subject-verb error as the non-underlined portion uses a plural form 'follow'.
