looking to understand if my understanding of Main point passage construction is correct and if it applies to this question.
per my understanding, in MP questions the general expectation is to: expect an argument > identify the conclusion > look for option choices tht r rephrased statements of only the conclusion;
if tht is the case, the conclusion i came up w was (since not straight forward, used conclusion-identifier method to identify) : "[..... i do not remember the meaning of this passage i wrote] (reason) [thus, now only god knws the meaning ] (conclusion). based on this , the choices show the reason as an option , not the conclusion. so is my conclusion incorrect or my approach / understanding of MP incorrect?

Hi KhayatiK

Your understanding is right, this particular question is very straight-forward to answer. Simply read it and you know what to do next. To keep things simple, first read the argument, identify the conclusion, and look for a relevant answer choice. That't it.

Good luck!
