I think that option C is incorrect since stimulus only says that business society has provided an opportunity but stimulus says nothing that business society benefited from this opportunity

What's the source of this question? For answer E to be correct trading community has to be the same as the business community and the stimulus does not state that they are the same. Also I feel there is a lot of sentence correction to be made for the question to make any sense

My thought process is as follows:

The first part of the passage talks about the trading community and its impact on the world. The passage then shifts towards the business community, talking about how it has impacted the world. The trading community, from part one, was referenced as 'historical', indicating a long period of time. The business community has taken the helm over the last century, so it can be inferred it will remain as such in the future. Thus, (E) would indicate this relationship between the trading community and business community.

Just my 2 cents, I hope this helps.

Why C is wrong and E is right?
can someone answer this?
In the last century the business community has helped ..............providing opportunity for trade and employment through unprecedented electronic revolution.

If the trading community has helped in providing opportunity for trade, isnt it beneficiary of revolution?

Throughout the history the trading community was the harbinger of civilization’s great developments and cultivation and exchange of culture, providing people with luxuries and artists with patronage, and lifting his fellow citizens to focus on the standard of living. In the last century, the business community has helped shrink the world to a global village by providing off-shore and on - shore opportunities for trade and employment through an unprecedented electronic revolution and thus narrow the gap between the haves and have-nots.

The passage best supports the statement that business community

A. is accountable to the society
B. lives luxurious and comfortable life
C. is the beneficiary of the electronic revolution
D. is capable of raising his standard of living
E. is the cradle of civilization of lately and for longly

Verbal Diagnostic Test No : 7 – CR - Q No: 11

OA: E
OE:
A. No such statement mentioned in the stimulus
B. Irrelevant
C. The world at large is the beneficiary, not the trading community
D. The text talks about raising the standard of living by the people of the world and not the traders.
E. Correct choice
E. is the cradle of civilization of lately and for longly

The passage explicitly states that the "trading community was the harbinger of civilization’s great developments and cultivation and exchange of culture" and that "in the last century, the business community has helped shrink the world to a global village."
This directly supports the idea that the business community has been a driving force of civilization both historically ("for longly") and in recent times ("lately").
