Analysis of the argument

Seminar should be conducted using innovative methods as they introduce creative thinking but the downside of the innovative method is it is difficult to retain large information

Let's look at the option now

(A) most of the employees at Grodex began in high school to learn the creative thinking skills that they later used on the job - If that's the case then training might even not be required, and moreover, we have to provide a premise that supports the argument this one weakens it
(B) corporations that conduct training seminars for employees using innovative educational methods are generally more successful than are corporations that do not conduct training seminars - This compares two different scenarios, not the ones which are discussed in the argument
(C) less than half of the employees at Grodex regularly attend the company's training seminars - Not relevant
(D) the effects of teaching methods in the education of adults are generally very similar to the effects of those methods in the education of children - This reinforces the fact that training will have the same impact on adults as on children i.e. it will induce creative thinking in adults also as it has successfully introduced in kids. So, let's keep this for now
(E) knowing how to think creatively helps people to compensate for deficiencies in memorization skills - Irrelevant

Hence D is the answer
