But don't literary skills mean writing skills??
Can you pls explain the difference between the two and when to use literary skills

I think literary skills are more general. For example, somebody could be an awesome critic of literature, but a terrible writer.

Maya is a better poet than Michael and a better novelist, too. Thus, Maya is undoubtedly a better nonfiction writer as well.

Given the information in the passage, which of the following is a belief about Maya that can be most justifiably attributed to the speaker?

(A) Maya is more prolific than Michael
(B) Maya is a better writer than Michael
(C) Maya is a better communicator than Michael
(D) Maya's literary skills are more cultivated than Michael
(E) Maya is more artistically talented than Michael
I think this is a poorly worded question and both B and D are correct. A. writer can be of magazine as well so you cant say a "better writer" . Literary skills are more cultivated is better option
