However, the fact that the market has been growing for the past two decades  does not mean it cannot shrink as well.  An international financial crisis may change the current direction the market is taking.

After reading the passage, Its pretty clear that 1st Boldface is a fact, and the 2nd boldface, appears to be a conclusion.

Now options that fit our understanding of the passage are C and E,

Between C and E, E apperas to be a stronger choice since Boldface1 was brought about by other facts makes more sense in the context of passage, since "concomitant rise in both the number of museums and in the interest of collectors in Eastern Asia" makes ground for Boldface1, and not the other way around

E is correct IMO

D seems more likely than E. The second bold face is not a conclusion. The passage is in the "two sides of the same coin" format, so it should be premise IMO.

(E) is correct. The conclusion of the argument (the reason the author wrote the argument) was to tell you that this growth doesn't mean that it cannot shrink in the future (i.e. it can shrink in the future). He supports this by saying that a crisis may change the current direction the market is taking. A conjecture about future will usually be some kind of conclusion.
