PEMDAS

So we start with the exponent
1/25 - 1/5 * 1/4
Then multiplication
1/25 - 1/20
then subtract to get -5/500 = -1/100

\(1)\). \(\frac{1}{5}^2- \frac{1}{5}*\frac{1}{4}\)

\(2)\). \(\frac{(20-25)}{500}\)

\(3)\). \(\frac{-5}{500}=\frac{-1}{100}\)

Right?!?!? :|

Rewriting the equation as \(\frac{1}{25} - \frac{1}{20}\)

As numerator of both fractions is same (i.e 1) & denominator 25 > 20, we can easily predict that the result would be -ve

So options C, D, E are ruled out

LCM of 20 & 25 is 100, so option B stands out

Answer = \(\frac{-1}{100}\)
