Regular Hexagon = 180*(6-2) = 180*4

Regular Pentagon = 180*(5-2) = 180*3

Difference = 180(4-3) = 180 = Triangle

Answer = A

Regular Pentagon = 180*(5-2) = 180*3

Difference = 180(4-3) = 180 = Triangle

Answer = A


So am i supposed to know these formulas or something? never seen these before and i had no idea even what a hexagon or pentagon was, let alone which degrees of angles they have.

You should know that the sum of interior angles of a polygon is 180(n-2) where n is the number of sides. Check for more here: math-polygons-87336.html

Sum of internal angles=(n-2)180

Sum hexagon - sum pentagon = 4(180) - 3(180) = 180

--> triangle
