Hi All,
Here are some hints on how to tackle this question:
When the GMAT gives you a 'weird-looking' shape to deal with, it often helps to break that shape down into pieces (into smaller shapes that you DO recognize, such as rectangles, squares, right triangles, etc.).
You can split this shape in one of two ways:
1) Two 'long' rectangles (left-to-right)
2) Two 'thick rectangles (top-to-bottom)
Using the given dimensions, you can determine the length and width of whichever pair of rectangles you've decided to use.
